Removal of Minor Skin Imperfections
Lamprobe is an FDA Approved device that uses radio and high frequency to quickly and precisely treat minor skin irregularities such as skin tags (flat and raised), fibromas, keratosis, broken capillaries, angiomas, spider Naevi, milia, clogged pores, sebaceous hyperplasia, & cholesterol deposits. This is done without penetrating the skin and without damaging surrounding tissue.
After a skin analysis and cleanse, your clinical esthetician will use the probe and adjust the settings appropriately for the type of skin imperfection you’d like treated. You can expect this treatment to feel like a pinch or heated sensation, similar to a sweat bee sting. If you have a low pain tolerance or if the blemish is in a painful area, numbing will be applied prior to treatment.
Most imperfections disappear immediately, during the first treatment. However, some imperfections may need a follow up treatment in 4-6 weeks. This treatment is safe for all skin types, as long as there is not any skin disease in the area to be treated and there are no metal implants in the area.
This is an ideal treatment to add on after a facial, as the exfoliation during the facial will improve the Lamprobe results.
Because sizes of imperfections vary, pricing may vary as well. However, this is to give you an idea of cost of services. The more imperfections treated at one time, the more cost effective this treatment is! Keep in mind that a limited number of imperfections can be treated in a specific area at a time.
